The old Topeak bag is about… 3 years old.
Looks weathered from daily usage. It gets used plenty – it has gotten used
gloriously! Carrying the prime essentials to fix whatever goes wrong on the
bike, on the fly. But just because of this review, it doesn’t mean I am getting
rid of it. With a plentitude of bicycles at the house, it is a staple of
utilitarian usability.
This new one – yes, the green one, is from – ArcEnCiel, an Amazon vendor. They make
good quality cycling bags. I’d like to try them all for the bike fleet /
friends – for feedback on how they handle on varied conditions.
Moving all the
goodies from the Topeak to ArcEnCiel was fun and easy, seeing how things fit –
and they all fit perfectly as you can see on the picture gallery.
The ArcEnCiel has a decievengly roomy interior. Made of
water repellant canvas, and a roll-top closure with Velcro, a sturdy plastic buckle,
reflective straps – its all well – it even fits a clip-on blinky light. Good!
Here’s a
pictorial. No need for captions. You are all smart with a PhD in breathing.
Ask me
questions. I might try my best to answer them.
If you’d like
to buy one, go
here (Ernesto Lube is not getting paid to endorse them). Its an Amazon only
vendor. There’s another nice bag they need to reproduce – I like it, but they
need to lengthen some straps for proper fitting.
